KIGS' objective is not to produce good graduates
trained in academics only, but to produce an
excellent human resource capable of handling
varied situations at their work place. In this
context, KIGS encourages the students to
participate actively in Extra Curricular
Activities (ECA) being an essential part of
their studies. Every Wednesday afternoon
students are required to participate in one of
those activities. To ensure their
active
participation, attendance is recorded
together
with their class attendance.

Students have formed THREE (3) societies for
different extra curricular activities which
include
 |
Sports Society |
 |
Art and Cultural Society |
 |
Business and Academic Society |
|

Upon enrollment, students are given the option
to join any one of these societies. The office
bearers of the societies, including the
president, the secretary and the treasurer are
elected by the members for one academic year. Al
society activities are supervised by a group of
Advisors comprising the college lecturers.
